Founded in 1987 by Mr. Ek (Udom Laokot), ELS began as a pioneer in importing English lamps, initially operating under 'Udom Shop' in Chatuchak Weekend Market (Section 1, Soi 1). As demand grew, he expanded the collection and passed down his craftsmanship—from welding and repair to electrical wiring—to his sister, Ms. Meerak (Khanatsorn Laokot).

Driven by this heritage, Ms. Meerak established 'The English & Thai Lamp' (ELS) on Senanikom 1 Road. While honoring its roots in English lighting, ELS has evolved into a comprehensive decor shop. We feature new custom-crafted pieces in brass, copper, iron, and stainless steel, alongside imported vintage decor from Europe, India, Indonesia, and Nepal.

Today, ELS specializes in antique and decorative lighting (ceiling, wall, and table lamps), door handles, hooks, curtain rods, sculptures, and fine home and garden accents. We also offer custom orders and are proud to have trusted partnerships with numerous leading companies.
